Chinese New Year is the biggest festival celebrated at the turn of the Chinese calendar.

춘절은 중국명절 중에서 가장 크고 의미가 깊은 명절중 하나이다.

mythical beast called the Nian. 

People use firecrackers to frighten away the Nian

모든사람들이 수십에서 수백개의 폭죽을 터뜨리고 있다.

중국인들은 춘절기간에 폭죽을 터뜨리면 나쁜기운이 떠난다고 생각한다.
